Digestive System Infographic

I had two ideas for an infographic: One of the digestive system and then a MyPlate infographic. After doing thumbnails for both, I realized that I had wanted to do a human body infographic for a long time, so it would probably be better if I did one based off the digestive system.

Two of my favorite thumbnails in rough sketch form! I thought maybe it would be good to have one that is more “traditional” of the digestive system while having another in the look of the rest of the book that’s more “floating” and artsy so each organ can really be focused on. Though, after some discussions, we ended up working with the first one as to not confuse children, and so I don’t end up in the more “body horror” camp.

I did 4 different color options, though ended up with the bottom left due to the colors being distinguishable. I wanted smaller puzzle pieces to be on the side with it’s corresponding color to make the infographic readable without employing extra items like lines.
